{"id":823,"date":"2026-01-22T14:00:51","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T13:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sfsb.farm.unipi.it\/?p=823"},"modified":"2026-01-22T14:02:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T13:02:21","slug":"phd-opportunities-at-nanyang-technological-university-ntu-singapore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sfsb.farm.unipi.it\/en\/2026\/01\/22\/phd-opportunities-at-nanyang-technological-university-ntu-singapore\/","title":{"rendered":"PhD Opportunities at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Co-supervised with the University of Pisa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is offering 13 fully funded PhD projects co-supervised by faculty members from NTU and the University of Pisa in a wide range of interdisciplinary research areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PhD programmes have a duration of 4 years and include a research period of 9\u201318 months to be carried out at the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application procedure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications must be submitted through the official NTU portal:<br>\ud83d\udc49 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntu.edu.sg\/admissions\/graduate\/radmissionguide\">https:\/\/www.ntu.edu.sg\/admissions\/graduate\/radmissionguide<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The official application deadline of 31 January has been extended to 28 February for admission starting in August 2026.<br>Applications for admission starting in January 2027 will also be possible at a later stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important information for applicants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Before applying<\/strong>, candidates are strongly encouraged to contact the project supervisors to verify the most appropriate PhD programme for submission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Completion of the Master\u2019s degree is not required at the time of application<\/strong>, but the degree must be awarded before acceptance of the PhD position and prior to the start of the programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>certified English language proficiency at B1 level<\/strong> is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>number of NTU PhD fellowships is limited<\/strong>;
