PhD Student Bianca Laura Bernardoni Publishes in Molecular Diversity

Bianca Laura Bernardoni is the first author of a recent publication in the journal Molecular Diversity titled “A scaffold repositioning approach: dihydroBenzolImidazoTriazineDione (BITD) derivatives as selective ALDH1A1 inhibitors.”
In this work, a novel class of ALDH1A1 inhibitors was developed through a scaffold repositioning strategy, identifying dihydroBenzolImidazoTriazineDione (BITD) derivatives as promising selective inhibitors. The study provides valuable insights for the rational design of new molecules and further development in the field.
