Translational Oncology and Precision Medicine
Abstract of the PhD project:
This PhD project investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying colorectal cancer progression and aims to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets through an integrated translational research approach. Conducted in collaboration between the University of Pisa and the CRO National Cancer Institute of Aviano, the project combines histopathological analyses, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology techniques, and bioinformatics to characterize tumor biology and its clinical relevance. By integrating experimental and computational analyses of biological data, the research seeks to improve the understanding of colorectal cancer and contribute to the development of more effective diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
